This father son Guitar Maker duo started learning to become luthiers in summer 2009 and have never turned back. Learning from the very talented Doug Ilton who is a student of Master Luthier Tony Karol they quickly adopted this amazing form of wood working and began crafting their own line of guitars. These TrueAxe guitars are made from the finest quality exotic woods and are each crafted to an individual style and sound. There will never be something more satisfying than playing a guitar that is perfectly made to fit your physical, aesthetic and sound preferences. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for all musicians to own an instrument as unique as they are.

Adam Truax is a student of Marketing at George Brown College about to pursue his Masters in Australia and a lover of music. Since starting to learn to play the guitar in the summer of 2009 he instantly fell in love with the instrument and things have never been the same.

An IT Project Manager running his own business, this amazing craftsman has developed an intense passion for making guitars and has totally revamped and reworked his workshop to make way for this awesome new adventure.
